Hector V. Barreto

Mr. Barreto was appointed as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration by President George W. Bush in 2001, and served five years in that position.  He is also a member of the National Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the former Vice Chairman of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber; the founder and President of Barreto Associates, http://BarretoInc.com (an international business consulting firm dealing in marketing, fundraising, insurance and finance); the founder and former Chairman of Business Matchmaking (the nation’s leading non-profit small business procurement program); the author of “The Engine of America”,  http://TheEngineofAmerica.com ; and has been inducted into the Minority Business Hall of Fame, and received special recognition from many other groups including the U.S. Congress, the YMCA, and the American Red Cross, as well as others.
